THEY’RE WHO WE LOVE THE MOST
Why Extended Family Sessions Are Worth It
There's something really special about photographing generations together. It's not just about one perfect family photo. It's about connection that runs deep from grandparents to grandkids and every cousin in between. Grandparents love these sessions. They get to be surrounded by their favorite people, and those photos quickly become family treasures. The kind that everyone wants to print, frame, and pass down.
The Best Moments
An extended family session is more than one big group photo. It's a collection of moments that show what your family feels like. Solo family portraits for each household. Grandparents with their grandkids because that bond deserves its own spotlight. Cousins together laughing, chasing each other, or showing off their personalities. Generational portraits that capture the roots and the legacy. Each session tells the full story of your family. Every branch, every connection, every smile that makes it yours.

Where We Can Shoot
Extended family sessions can be beautiful almost anywhere. Some families love the look of open fields or parks like those in Geneva or Wheaton, where the light filters through the trees and the kids can run free. Others prefer something more personal like a backyard that has seen a thousand summer dinners or the front steps that have welcomed every holiday gathering. It doesn't have to be fancy. It just has to feel like you.
Keep It Fun & Natural
These sessions are relaxed and full of movement. We keep things light, we laugh, and we let the kids be kids. Parents can take a breath, and grandparents get to soak in every moment. What you end up with are images that feel effortless and full of life.

Extended Pricing
Extended family sessions are designed so everyone can take part and get beautiful photos without overcomplicating things. Each family within the group pays a mini session rate of $150, plus $15 for each family member beyond five people.
Grandparents can be added for $50 total.
The Breakdown:
If your extended family includes three families and one set of grandparents, the total would be about $500
*assuming each family has 5 or less people + $15 for every member beyond 5. (ex: If you have 6 people / $165)
This setup keeps things simple and it allows me to capture every combination fairly. You'll want the full family group, each smaller family, cousins together, and of course, grandparents with their favorite people… no, not you - the grand- babies!

- Family One: $150
